Untreated seed; packed by volume so seed quantity is approximate. Available in two pack sizes: 

Gardener packet 0.5g (90 seeds); Grower packet 2.0g (360 seeds).

Half hardy annual. DTM 75-90

The ruffled blooms of double cosmos are just as gorgeous in the garden as they are in the vase! This white variety is particularly popular for summer wedding arrangements.

Sow under cover four weeks before your last frost date; sow outside after the risk of frost has passed. Sowing temp 18-21°C; germination between 5-10 days in optimum conditions. Pinch to encourage branching.

Double cosmos needs to open just a little more than the 'cracked bud' stage for single cosmos. Make sure to cut before the bloom is pollinated though as vase life with quickly decline after pollination. Place immediately into water; no special conditioning required.
