About Us
At Forever Green Seed & Bulb Co we are committed to sourcing the very best cut-flower varieties for flower growers and gardeners.
Cel and Robert are excited to share their curated selection of cut flower varieties with you, and they will be expanding their range in the future so you can continue to grow the most beautiful blooms for your gardens and cut-flower enterprises.
Forever Green Seed & Bulb Co is run by Cel Robertson and Robert Harris. They met whilst studying at horticultural college in London in the late 1990s. Based in North Norfolk, Cel runs a cut-flower farm and Robert is a horticulturalist. Together, they bring their shared love and knowledge of cultivating plants to curate a selection of cut-flower seed and bulb varieties for UK gardeners and growers.
Cel Robertson - cut flower grower
Cel runs Forever Green Flower Company in North Norfolk. You may know her from her book - Cut Flowers - or from her recent appearance on Monty Don's British Gardens (January 2025, BBC2). Cel loves to share her considerable expertise in cut-flower production and grows many of the seed varieties available here on her own flower farm.

Robert Harris - Landscape gardener and plant lover
Robert has been working with plants for almost thirty years. Whilst his favourite plants are ferns and hostas, he has a soft spot for sweet peas which he loves to grow in the garden. He still gets excited when he discovers his seeds starting to germinate!
You'll notice that our seeds don't come in fancy colourful packaging, and that's been a conscious choice for us. Our simple, no-frills packaging is made from recycled kraft. When you are ready to dispose of your seeds packets, please recycle them. One of our aims is to keep the use of virgin paper products to a minimum - even our sticker labels are recycled kraft! To help minimise our use of materials we won't be producing a paper catalogue, so our complete seed and bulb range can only be found online.
Unfortunately, it isn't possible to source all of the lovely varieties we grow on our flower farms and in our gardens from within the UK. So much of the specialised breeding for cut-flower varieties happens overseas - some of the most exciting new varieties are currently being produced by breeders in Japan and The Netherlands.
From Cel's personal experience working in the cut-flower industry she knows how challenging it is for small-scale growers to stay competitive in a market that continually shifts with the trend of the moment; at Forever Green Seed & Bulb Co we will always explore how we can source the best varieties from specialist seed producers to help growers and gardeners fill their flower beds with colour!
As our range expands we will be sourcing seeds from some of our fantastic UK producers as well as those from overseas. Look out for new introductions to our curated selection coming later in 2025!
